Kai Welch makes smart Indie-pop and Folk music of uncommon playfulness and crafty melodicism. From his work on Abigail Washburn’s “city of Refuge”, to his new solo project, this is something you won’t want to miss! Kai has played all over the world: Bonnaroo, Telluride, Cambridge, Winnipeg, The UK, Norway, Australia/NZ, China, Lincoln Center, Central Park, The Ryman Auditorium, NPR, and now The Lake Katonah Club House!
